This 8,700 square foot addition to the Walla Walla Fire District’s station in Burbank, Washington added greatly needed space to support a growing fire district. The addition includes a reception area, station administrative offices, a conference room, fire and EMS logistics rooms, a decontamination area, six dorm rooms, a kitchen, a dining/ dayroom, an exercise room, toilet, and shower rooms along with a 1,624 square foot training tower facility. The existing apparatus bays and maintenance bays remained operational throughout construction. The completed single-story fire station is 16,100 square foot.
