The new St. Josephs Middle School education building with a mechanical loft features a brick and EIFS façade with a composite shingle roof.
The project included site improvements, six classrooms, two science rooms, one music room, a library, school administrative offices and associated amenities. Two of the new classrooms are separated by an operable partition that can be opened as needed to provide a larger multipurpose space.
St. Joseph's School Addition
Kennewick, Washington
The scope of the project involved the complete remodel of two 1962 classroom buildings that had housed the entire K-8 St. Joseph’s School until the recent addition of the Middle School Building. The two buildings were converted to accommodate the staff and students for the expanded Montessori pre-school through 5th grade levels. All new restroom fixtures, casework, and finishes were provided. Updated electrical and mechanical were also included. The exterior received all new doors, windows, and roofing. One building now provides for K-5 classrooms/program and the other contains the Montessori pre-school and daycare.
