Fran Rish Stadium
Richland, Washington
The original visitor’s side concessions and bleachers, constructed in the 1950s, were demolished to make way for updated facilities that meet current accessibility standards. The new facility provides concessions areas, accessible restrooms, team boxes, a press box and a new accessible bleacher system. The stadium is used by both Richland and Hanford high schools. This required the concessions area to accommodate both schools needs, including separate inventory storage areas. The building combines metal roofing, a CMU veneer and EIFS for the exterior finishes.
